Will acne go away when Im older?

ive had acne since i was seven and im 13 now and there are times when it gets horrible and there are times when it gets nice then bad again. but anyway,, peope say it does yes, because as you get older your body stops producing as much oil it can and most likely will, but you need to remember to always wash your face and not to touch it. clearsil products work great!

Acne will normally start to end around the age of 18, this is when your adolescent years are ending. To stop acne in the future, use a good reputable face wash. I recommend using 'Clean And Clear'. All of them seem to work, however the ones that say 'Daily' or 'Spots' specifically are the ones you want. Another tip: Drink plenty of water, this reduces spots appearing on your face. It reduces oil in the skin.

When you "grow up." My dermatologist said my body is still producing hormones at an increased rate. I am 19 years old. These hormones make your oil glands produce more oil. The more oil means more acne. My doctor said most people stop producing an increased amount of hormones around 21, 22, or 23. I am a guy. My doctor said I will be able to tell that my body is producing a normal amount of hormones when I need to shave every day. This is when my hair on my face is thick and grows like a real mans facial hair does... which means every day by night time it grows back. I am sorry if you are a female... not sure how a female can tell when they stop producing an increase amount of hormones. Obviously females would produce different hormones than males. But females do "grow up" faster than males. So the age when a female stops producing an increase amount of hormones is probably one or two years earlier.
