The engine coolant temp sensor can do that. If you have a check engine light on, have the codes read.
You don't have a carb on that vehicle, it is throttle body fuel injected.
A faulty engine coolant temp sensor can cause that.
A bad engine temp sensor can do that.
It sure can.
Yes
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark to run. You are missing one of those.
This requires a special socket to fit the sending unit. Using pliers may damage the unit and cause an oil leak. The unit is located in back of the engine , on top, just to the drivers side of the distributor.
You have another problem other then the knock sensor if the engine will not start and run. A knock sensor will not cause the engine not to run.
YOU CAN'T. It is not adjustable and is NOT to be tampered with. VERY important to leave it alone. You have another problem with the engine sensors if it is idleing to fast are to slow. Is the check engine light on ? If it is you need to have the engine SCANNED with an engine scanner.Check for vacuum leak that will cause it to idle to fast. TPS/ Throttle position sensor may be bad too.
crank sensor will cause car to no start cam sensor will only set check engine light kbutlrtech@yahoo.com
Check your gas cap. Make sure the seal is still good. This will cause the check engine light to stay on and is an easy fix.
