If you have a tape deck in your jeep, you can buy a converter hookup that will plug into your iPod and your tapedeck. Check radioshack and places that are similar An easier option is the FM transmitter, just connect it to your iPod and tune your radio into the signal it emits.
If the radio was put in at the factory then no.
You can plug your iPod to the factory BMW radio using the iPod interface for your vehicle , this will plug into the CD hcanger connection, the 3 pin and 6 pin plug will work for iPod , you have to remove the CD changer full iPod controls from the BMW radio, it will display all the iPod text on the radio and cluster do a search on yahoo for ( dice i-BMW-t/5v )

Just guessing here but I think you are asking about the plug that looks like a cigar lighter in the back of the Jeep. That is an auxiliary power point, you can plug any 12v devioce into it like a DVD player or IPOD charger
Does it have a tape player? if so, get a tape adapter with a headphone jack to plug it in to the ipod. If not, get an iTrip or similar FM transmitter to transmit the signal to your car radio.
ipod docking stations are places to plug your ipod or iphone into and they place music louder and charge them at the same time!!!!! You can get ones that play Cd's and radio as well
