Generally, no. The alternators for a 1989 vs. 1995 have adjusting ears on opposite sides, the internal bearings are somewhat larger/stronger on the 1995 model, and most importantly, the amperages differ, so there would be inadequate output if you were to put a 1989 alternator on a 1995 vehicle (the 1989 alternator is an 85amp, vs. 105 amp on the 1995). These guidelines are based on the assumption that you have a 4-cylinder model. If you have a V-6 engine, the differences are similar-- different mounting ears and different amperages.

The door lock/unlock relay is located behind the I/P on a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. The relay is at the RH shroud just beside the center access hole
