No.No.
sorry to say this but it will not swap. they will bolt up but the 1996 is a computer controled trans. without the computer it will stay in low gear.
4 quarts.
Only the CVT that was used in the Calibers and Jeep Compass/Patriot.
will a 1997 Mazda 626 transmission or engine interchange with a 1999-2002 Mazda 626 transmission or engine
The only one that will WORK is a 4L60E transmission because of the computer system in the truck. From 1993 to 1999 will interchange as long as it is a 4x4 transmission. Hear is the 2 years that WON'T WORK. 1996 and 1997.
depending on the engine size the transmission is going to be 42rh with v-6 or a 46rh with a v-8.
It will definatly bolt up to the motor, but it has no transfer case so you wouldn't have 4x4. the 4x4 and 4x2 trannies are different. i have a 2000 Dakota rt with a 46re so i know dodge trannies
Not exactly. The motor is the same, but the transmission is different. The B vans with the 3.9 used a mechanical 3 speed automatic (32RH), the Dakota used a 4 speed electronic automatic (42RE). You could use the engine but not the transmission.
No, they do not interchange.
Yes, but you have to remove the automatic transmission housing, and you have to replace the Torque Converter with a standard transmission clutch that matches the type of transmission with which you are mating the engine.
ford probe is the same engine/transmission configuration
