so will the wrong oil filter
wrong viscosity oil, bad oil pump, bad hydraulic lifters,or loose tappet rockers
They could squeak, rattle, bang , clunk.....
No but an engine running like that can damage the valves.
There could be hundreds of different things that could rattle. Give us more details. A common rattle is from the catalytic converter. The inside breaks and pieces get into the exhaust and rattle.
They can.They can.
then i would seriously look at the timing belt for wear or belt tension. I guess you could have some really bad gas , too. Check your oil lately ?
bad things.. engine continues to make revolutions for a bit but cams dont turn. you can have damage to valves, lifters, pushrods, pistons, and since most oil pumps run on this belt and depending on rpm's at the time oil starvation can cause bearing damage.
The oil pump rattling is very unlikely, a bad pump causing other components to rattle and damage themselves is VERYlikely.
no it will not. Bad rings will do it, Valves not seating in the head, Bad head gasket. Burnt piston will do it . These are things to look for.
No. Gastritis can cause pain in the upper chest and sometimes gassiness or diarrhea. If it is bad enough to cause bleeding it can cause anemia and occasionally be a precursor to an ulcer. Rattling in the chest sounds more like a lung problem such as bronchitis.
no - all the rattle is, is a tiny bit of the inside that has flaked of which is moving up and down the stick in movement!
