If it simply dies without hesitating, I'd guess your crank sensor.
Check the crank angle sensor usually about $150 to replace
Happened to me .. it was the crank sensor. Pretty inexpensive to fix

Possibly the crank case oil sensor. Had the same symptoms on a Buick LeSabre '91
A bad crank sensor will definitely cause the car to stall. Eventually the car will stop starting up again, or if it does, it will die down around ten minutes. A good thing to do if you're sure it's the crank sensor, replace it.
