Yes It Can, Where Ever There Is Sun, There Will Be Solar Power.
I agree
The first nuclear power plant ever built was the Obninsk Nuclear Power Plant. Located in Obninsk, this plant is situated south of Moscow and was operational starting on June 1, 1954.
The first ever reactor was in 1942, but not power producing. The first electric power producing reactor was in the UK in 1956
You are probably thinking of nuclear fusion which will use deuterium and tritium (both isotopes of hydrogen) if it can ever be made a practical technology
In none of the back to the future movies have they ever created nuclear power. In the first one they used lighting to generate 1.21 gw of energy, and then the professer fixed it in the beggining of the second movie so you don't need nuclear power to go back.
Nuclear fission has advanced science in that it has led to the development of the most powerful weapon ever created, the atomic bomb. Also, nuclear fission is used in nuclear power plants to evaporate water to move turbines.
Once the nuclear power plant has been built and put into service, nuclear power is very reliable, it is only dependent on how reliable the plant's equipment is, things like pumps, instruments, turbines, and so on. The reactor itself hardly ever fails.
They are all renewable sources of energy. This means that they can be used for ever.
You clearly don't understand how electricity is distributed. At present in the US nuclear power electricity is about 20 percent of the total used. This means that just about everybody uses some nuclear every day as part of their use of electricity. Nuclear power is always going to be used to produce electricity, you won't ever have one in your basement.
