Replacing the battery should not have triggered the check engine light. The check engine light comes on when there is a problem with the emission system. Saying that, I would drive it for a while to see if the light does go out. If the light does not go out have the ECU scanned to retrieve the trouble code. Then use this code to diagnose the problem.
i just changed my batterys out on my truck now my check engine light is on?
changed battery engine light stays on
Check to see if the alternator is working Connect a voltmeter to battery: Without engine running reading should be about 12.8 With engine running reading should be 13.8-14.2 If not bad alternator
Check engine light usually indicates a problem in the emission control system - have vehicle scanned to determine the problem

Check alternator with a voltmeter A fully charged battery should read approx. 12.8 volts without engine running With engine running reading should be approx. 13.8 - 14.2 volts
You can turn off the check engine light by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a couple of minutes.
Check the battery and see if it is charged or needs to be changed. Check the battery cables Check the starter condition
Double check that the battery works, then check if the engine works.
being a super duty i assume this is a diesel engine. diesel trucks have 2 batteries. did you check both batteries. then check all fuses if it is a diesel engine there will be 2 batteries .did you check both batteries
