Chipping it with a screwdriver or some other sharp implement could cause unnecessary damage. However, flashing your Xbox 360 (New kind of chipping) will cause no damage other than voiding your warranty. If you want to play on Xbox live then, personally i wouldn't as almost 1 million people have been banned recently.

∙ 12y agoIt can play copied games. This is illegal because you need to mod the motherboard. However, people will say its legal because if they make back ups of there games and the original was damaged, they will be able to play back ups/copies.
