Yes it will completely clean out your heater core. Make certain to disconnect you heater core hoses from the engine and purge the heater core of all antifreeze before you pour in the lime away. Leave it in for three hours then flush with clean hot water. Top the heater core off with antifreeze then reconnect the heater core hoses to the engine. Bring the vehicle up to operating temperature. Let it cool down for 15 minutes afterwards. Take radiator cap off. Turn vehicle back on. Run until operating temperature is reached. Then bring engine RPM's up to 2500 and hold for one minute. Do this several times until no more antifreeze come up out of the top of radiator. Then turn off vehicle. Put radiator cap back on then you are done.
A leaking water heater can be very dangerous and should not be used if it is leaking. Also, you should clean the leakage and keep it away from any other electronics.
It could be that you have a leaking heater core, which resides inside your car. Another give-away for a leaking core would be a sweet smell inside the car and/or a sticky residue on the inside of your windshield.

Put a tied off sock filled with cedar chips in the glove.
If it's leaking from INSIDE the firewall (away from the engine compartment) you probably have a leaking heater control valve or damaged heater core.
Yes. I would. If you are replacing the hot water lines, it is also a good time to drain the hot water heater and get rid of all the junk at the bottom of the hot water heater. That should be done once a year. Your hot water heater must be off when you do that, your hot water heater should be off when you drain your hot water heater. You will see boiler scale come out of your water heater. Leaving the boiler scale in your water heater makes it less efficient. It makes it harder to heat your water. It is the same as throwing money down the drain. If you want to give your money away, you should give it to the Salvation Army instead of the Utility Company.
Simply put, coke is acidic on the pH scale. If youv don't remember what the pH scale is, it is a measure of how acidic or alkaline a substance is. Coke is about 3 on the pH scale, making it decently acidic (just so u have a comparison distilled water is 7 on the pH scale which is neutral). In short acid eats away at metals while alkaline eats away at protein. So when calcium and zinc build up on your penny soaking it in coke will eat away at the metals built up, leaving it nice and shiny. Side note: alkaline pH substances eat away at proteins so that's why we use high alkaline products to clean our sinks and toilets.
There are many different commercail cleaners available to aid in the cleaning of a microwave such as 409. For a more natural approach some white vinegar heated in a bowl and allowed to sit for a few minutes inside the microwave will help loosen grease and than can be wiped away with a clean sponge.
From 100 to 150 mm from the front face of the baseboard heater.
If you mean the oustide of the engine then wash it just like you would wash the outside of your car. Otherwise I'd stay away from cleaning the inside.
