Yes, I have a 1, 200 gallon pond and watched the experience before. The reason why is because they don't know what they are eating. But, I believe some special types of koi don't eat their babies.
Koi are egg layers/scatterers of adhesive eggs so they don't actually 'have babies'.
They get along with goldfish but you'll end up with babies that are part goldfish. I have them in the same pond and that's what happened to me. The main problem with putting Koi with other fish, is sometimes the other fish like to eat Koi.
Nope they sometimes eat there eggs
yes they will
koi fish would normally eat goldfish food try tetra fin goldfish flakes they are made for goldfish and koi
Yes according to my Math book is says Mexicans and Asians eat it around 1:40 a.m. !
It depends how big your Koi is and how big the Catfish is. If the catfish can fit in the Koi's mouth than it will get eaten.
Yes koi fish can eat bannannas but only in very little pieces. koi fish can actually eat any type of good comon fruit. the only fruit that i know that they can not eat is grape fruit.
