Yes there the same.
Typically, these came with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder, or a 2.8liter V6 FWD style. Both of these motors are getting hard to find in running condition. Cost will depend on what motor you have and the area you live in.
Both the 2.2 and 2.4 liter four cylinder engines in a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier use a timing CHAIN
Maybe, as long as both vehicles had the 2200 4-cylinder engine. The S10's motor might be slighty different tuning wise because it was used in a truck. Even if both motors are OHV 2200's they still might not work due to the fact a S10 is RWD/4WD and a Cavalier is FWD.
the 3.1 liter v6 and the 4 cylinder both have sepentine belts
well according to autozones website, no. they are different part numbers from 89 to 94 in both four and six cylinder engines
if its the same speed yes it should since the are both in the same generation. both the 98 and 01 have the same 3 and 4 speed trans.
Solved . They are both C125 transmissions
No both the V6 and four cylinder motors of the 2007+ Nissan Altima have timing chains.
Yes, you must pull both axles to change any transmission, Mazda or not.
Here are the specs for both cars and you be the judge..... 1998 Ford mustang specs: 6 cylinder 150hp 215 ft lb 1998 Chevy cavalier specs: 4 cylinder 115hp 130ft lb i say the mustang will win...
Well yes and no. Both have a 2.2 four cylinder if I'm not mistaken, but I don't think the earlier Cavalier's have the EcoTec motor. And you should be able to get the engine from the '03 into the '97 with no problem.
