Well, my cat has been chased in by our other cat. so it is possible for that to happen to yours.
dogs don't eat cats. they chase cats.
Dogs chasing cats is a stereotype, but they will chase cats and other things if they are excited! It also depends on territorial issues as well. If the cat had already claimed the territory, then the dog may chase it to try and get that territory, or if the dog had claimed it first, then it may chase the cat to get it off said territory.
Not all dogs chase cats, but there are several reasons why a dog would chase a cat. Cats that are let outside usually roam, as they have quite large territories. Dogs, that perceive the house they live in as their territory, might chase off a cat if the dog feels like its territory is being threatened. Some dogs have a higher "chase" drive than others, and will just chase animals smaller than themselves for no other reason than to chase it. These reasons do not mean that dogs hate cats. Dogs and cats living in the same household are often very friendly towards each other.
depends on cat and dog. if cat and dog are kitten and puppy then it should work out well. and ask self this, does the dog chase cats? if so, then no poodle, if not then be my guest. unless cat is adult and dog is puppy. then lust look after the puppy to make sure it doesn't get hurt by cat.
Both. Depending on the dog and cat, dogs can chase cats, but some feisty or territorial cats are more than capable in chasing away a dog.
yes. other cats can step in that cats poop, the cat can lick the other cat, or another cat can step in the other cats pee
Any dog could chase a cat ... its a prey drive and how strong their drive is, will determine if they chase ... if the dog grew up with cats, its less likely to treat cats as prey.
From my experience, she will chase them from her territory or in a few cases, accept them as a friend. Some cats though are more timid than others and can be chased by other cats. With a male, if she is not spayed and she is in season, they will probably mate resulting in kittens.
Dogs sometimes chase after cats because it is their nature. They are descendants of wolves. But, the cat will protect itself and might scratch the dog. Sometimes the cat will fight back and it might not end well for the dog.
Actually, most dogs don't. Out of the dogs that I've been through (2) they haven't chased one of our cats. If the dog cats irritated by the cat, it might chase it. Otherwise, the dog and cat can become pretty good friends.
This is a way for a cat to practice catching mice or fish for dinner.
A cat flap is at the bottom of a door and it is used for cats to get in and out of the house instead of having to open the door every time.
