It would appear so, however it depends on the strength of the acid and how long is allowed to stay in the cup.
This answer isn't derived from the scientific method mind you, but through casual observation. A McDonald's coffee cup over a period of weeks was used as a cup for soda. After a period of time, the bottom began weeping soda.
My conclusion is that left in a Styrofoam container, the acid in soda will eventually eat through. Though the container would likely have to be reused over and over. A single use, or even for a week shouldn't damage the container unless it's left in for a long period of time.

Sorry, battery acid stains are permanent. The acid will eat away the cloth.
uh who would be stupid enough to eat styrofoam lol. Best thing to do is not even eat it.
I don't think it's ever healthy to eat off melted styrofoam...
If they eat it, yes.
muriatic acid should not cause discolouration to concrete it will eat it away though.
Enzymes are proteins that catalyze the chemical reactions inside the body. No, they are not acids, and no, they do not eat away flesh.
waves containing acid eat away at substances
