If you remove the cat on anything made after 1975 it becomes an "off road only"meaning TRAILER QUEEN MACHINE. this is because it is illegal federaly to remove pollution controll devices.
however a 1994 is obd 1 so it only has a precat sensor. The computer would never even know you pulled your cat except for "SLIGHTLY" reduced backpressure on the exhaust calves
