Absolutely 100% true! Back in South East Asia, where I worked as a teacher, many students have gone home "sick" by sticking a raw, peeled onion in their armpit. Although some do say that garlic works too, and even better than onions do. Either way, it works. Just leave it in there for 30 minutes or even the whole night and your tempature will increase and BOOM you'll have a fever!
