Ritalin is metabolized in the body by CYP2D6, a member of the Cytochrome P450 Enzyme System.
Omeprazole is a member of the PPI family of drugs (Proton Pump Inhibitors).
PPI's are known to inhibit CYP2C19 = this inhibition would allow drugs metabolized by this enzyme to linger in the body = exerting their effect for a longer period of time.
Having said that, metabolic pathways in the body are by no means black & white...it could very well be the case that certain drugs (ie. Ritalin) are metabolized by a combination of these P450 enzymes.

Taking Ritalin later in the day may cause insomnia. You should report this to your doctor so you can get a dosage change or be instructed to take it in the morning.
Yes Ritalin and Prozac (fluoxetine) work in very different ways and are able to be taken together, I take both of them to help with both ADHD and depression and there are no side effects from taking them both simultaniously.
There are no drug interactions between azithromycin and oxycontin.
I am currently taking omeprazole 20 mg cap and have experienced painful gas and bloating!
That would be tachycardia.
Unlike drugs such as antidepressants where you must wait a while until you get the full effect Ritalin works within an hour (average) since you have taken it, to explain it very simply it is similar to alcohol in that soon after you ingest it you can feel its effects then as it is removed from the body the effects go away.
Yes, you can there is no temporary deferal either.
