The Holocaust has got to repeat its self. At some point someone will come to power someone like Hitler and will try and wipe out a race. and who's to say one isn't going on today. you don't need big concentration camps to have a genocide.
It probably will. However, this time it will probably not be about race, but religion. The antichrist will come and take away all forms of communication from those who are not marked with the mark of the beast. Those who are marked will be in his control. Those who do not have the mark will not be able to buy, sell, trade, or even live for that matter. Some people think that the "mark" will be a microchip implanted in the skin. They will be able to track you everywhere you are, and know everything about you. Christians will refuse this mark and therefore be cut off from the world and even killed. However, this is only a theory... God only knows what will happen.

Large-scale massacres and less murderous but still very cruel oppressions, often but not always on religious lines, have occurred within the last few decades: Rwanda, Cambodia, Afghanistan, etc. The "Troubles" in Ulster had a sectarian element, although also highly political; and the "paramilitaries" on both sides proved themselves just as totally selfish, amoral and inhumane in their methods as, though on a smaller scale than, the Nazis, Taliban or Khmer Rouge.
Nor should we forget that at roughly the same time as Adolf Hitler, his ally then foe Josef Stalin's regime in the USSR killed at least as many as the Holocaust; mainly to suit political dogma although Stalin was also highly anti-Semitic. For some reason this was played down for decades, yet it was just as evil.
If you go back over the centuries you realise there is nothing new here: for example at various times in Western Europe it was extremely dangerous to be the wrong sort of Christian in your own supposedly-Christian country.
The horror of the Holocaust - called by the Nazi High Command 'The Final Solution' (to their "Jewish problem") - comes from its intensity, scale, intent and method.
