Yes they will. Mascara is much less important than the makeup companies would like you to believe. Human eyes have their own beauty, that does not depend upon mascara or even eyelash liner.
Actually less make-up can be better. Be clean, smell nice, be friendly, smile a lot. Wear clothes that emphasize your best features. Also only wear clothes that you feel right about, it is very obvious if you are wearing something you do not feel comfortable with (ie: too tight or short).
