Why would the states credit union care what MY credit is when they are hiring YOU? Besides could a drunk get a job as a bartender... If you couldn't handle your own finances, as a member I wouldn't want you near mine..
It is a closed shop. Employees must be a Union member at all times.
I think so. That is why we have the right to work law.
In a closed shop, union membership is required. The employer agrees to hire union members only. The employees must remain members of the union in order to remain employed.
Union contracts specificy whether or not joining in mandatory. Referred to as a "closed shop," these contracts require that the employers agree to hire only union members (or those that BECOME union members). I think almost every union contract requires all employees to be members.
I don't see why they would hire high risk employees if they had other applicants.
A lot of companies hire less than 100 employees. Most companies hire one or just a few at at time. It is unusual to hire 100 or more employees at one time. There are many companies that have less than 100 total employees, and they usually hire people one at a time. The majority of the companies in the US have less than 100 employees. Albertsons is a good sized grocery chain. They have many more than 100 employees.
When employers hire experienced employees, they not are going to have to spend a lot of time of training them. You also know that the employees have some type of understanding of what the job entails.
