There should be an access panel located in the B pillar, or if you remove the interior trim of the B pillar, a pair of connectors that are small enough to pass out through the B pillar. The wiring goes with the door, as opposed to staying with the car.
You assemble the pillar to the base plate first, then fit the table and it's winding mechanism onto the pillar. Next fit the pulley box to the top of the pillar and finally the motor on the rear of the pulley box.
