We're already in that time. That's why they're producing dual core, quad core, etc CPUs now. Instead of making a faster CPU, they're producing chips that have more then one CPU on them.
its better when it comes from reliablity and durability AMD is faster sometimes than Intel and more faster than ever to break. AMD's life span is short compared to INTEL.
What is faster intel HD 4000 or intel atom
Intel centrino
The Intel Core 2 Duo uses 400, 533 or 800 Mhz bus speeds, depending on the type.
core its faster
what are the four speeds of the most popular motherboards currently available on the market that support Intel processors There is no such identifier as speed when referring to motherboards. They are classed as AMD or INTEL, socket type, memory type, size. The four speeds are 1600, 1333, 1066, or 800 MHz.
The Intel Pentium Dual-Core is much faster.
1066 MHz, 800 MHz, 533MHz and 400 MHz are the most popular speeds of motherboards that support Intel processors.
The Intel Core 2 Duo experiences less of an energy demand, longer battery runtime as well as cooler temperatures. It is a faster processor so it can run code faster than its predecessors as long as your RAM is large enough to allow for there to be a difference.
Intel Core i3 is faster even though they are both dual core processors. The i3 has multi-threading capability which lets it run two processes on one core versus one process per core the the Intel Core 2 duo. Bottom line: Intel core i3 is faster.
They are no longer manufactured.
I guess it is because Intel has built up a reputation with most companies, because they have been around longer. I think AMD is much better than Intel, much faster in my opinion.
