Not when I did. Just make sure that you wash your eye as soon as possible. Eye may itch,burn, and grow red, but it does not have permeanant affect if treated. If it does remain in your eye though it may cause problems. After washing out your eye or eyes, but itching and burning continue see an eye doctor as soon as possible. I am not a doctor, but I have read articles on it when I got some in eye. You should still get a professional opinion on any matter pertaining to your body's health
