top remember it by trailing-top leading-lower
4 plugs 2 leading 2 trailing.
The bottom plugs - marked "L" for leading.
The RX8 has 4 spark plugs or two plugs per rotor. Each rotor has a leading and a trailing plug, the trailing fires a little bit after the leading plug.
next to each spark plug there should be a 5mm tall...T or L (trailing or leading) the spak plugs are different on the electrodes
On the housings, it's written T And L at the right of the plug holes. on the coils, its written T1 and T2 and L1 and L2. On the plugs, just on tep of the number its written T or L so it's Easy to find. Trailing plugs should have a T on them as well, leading plugs however don't have an L.
Make sure you have the correct plugs to start. There is 2 different sets. There is leading and trailing plugs. I buy mine at Mazda cause they usually have them in stock and come in a pack of 4 and are labelled clearly leading and trailing. All 4 plugs are located on the drivers side of the motor. The leading plugs are the bottom 2 and the trailing are the top 2. The spark plug wires coming from the distributor cap are labelled L1, T1, L2, T2. The rotor towards the front of the car is #1 and the rear #2. Therefore, L1 goes to the lower left plug, T1 the top left, L2 the lower right, and T2 the top right. Torque plugs to 9-11 ft/lbs.
Easiest way to remember is the leading - "L" Lower and trailing "T" Top plugs. Therefore in the housing as it sits in the vehicle the lower pair is leading and the upper pair is trailing.
The Mazda 5 does not have glow plugs. Maybe you meant spark plugs?
the radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator,on the radiator
Depends where you buy them. you'll need two for trailing and two for leading. They average ~20-30 each. Only get Iridium ones as these are the only kind recommended for the renesis.
A Mazda 6 s requires 6 plugs, A Mazda 6 i requires 4
leading should be the bottom plugs. if you look on the engine there will be a L and a T next to the spark plug holes.L for leading T for trailing.
