Yes you can. I was able to get in with a 3.4 GPA and outside of the top 25% of my class. (700 People)
I wasnt extremely involved in extra curricular activities. I was in a few things, but that's it. I did have upwards of 90+ Hours of Community Service though.
Your Test Scores can impact it as well. I scored a 29 on the ACT, but have a roomate at OSU who had a composite 21 and was able to get in.
So I would say you have a pretty good chance of getting in. Nothing guaranteed.
The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is a beautiful campus in a nice community.

Sounds like you've got a good chance at both, granted you have good test scores (above 20 ACT, 25 and up would be nice for U of M), extra-curricular activities, and/or AP classes or credits.
its not really about the SAT but more the ACT and u would pretty much need to own it to get into Michigan with a 3.0. however, the ACT is last on what colleges consider. they consider a lot of other things before test score like volunteering and extra curricular activities. unless those are outstanding i don't think u will get into Michigan, no offense.
There is one veterinary school in Michigan, it is at Michigan State University in East Lansing. Most states only have one vet school, if any. You can get veterinary technician training at many community colleges in Michigan, including the East Lansing Community College.
