it may not be you ignition relay, but your alternator.
you need a new ignition tumbler.
At night with your headlights on you can only see just so far down the road. Overdriving your lights is driving so fast as to not be able to react to something that is beyond the beam of your lights.

check the fuses
There was an ignition switch recall on some CR-V's. That is the first places I'd start investigating.
i bet it wouldn't be hard to put the headlights on the radeo power that comes on when the ignition is on...
Could be either a bad ignition switch or a bad voltage regulator (not opening circuit on shut-down)
Let's say you park your car outside at night and not in a garage. The AUTOMATIC lights will stay on long enough to light the area up and give you time to get inside. They will then go off. Lights in a car without auto lights are designed to be turned on without the ignition being on for safety reasons. If you are driving along at night and your ignition fails you lights will still be on. Also lights draw too much amperage to be routed through the ignition switch.Let's say you park your car outside at night and not in a garage. The brake light switch is either out of adjustment or defective.
Air conditioners have no ignition. Modern Gas Furnaces will have either spark ignition or heating element ignition. Old gas furnaces will have pilot lights.
Are the lights in the dash coming on, and it just won't crank or are there no lights at all? If the lights are coming on you need an ignition switch.
On many vehicles, that means that the daytime driving lights are on.
Have the ignition switch checked. As they age they don't make contact intermittently.
if no warning and it just shuts down but dash lights and radio light up check ignition switch
