Not to live together but if your intention is to mate them then it should work quite well. Generally speaking hamsters are solitary animals with the exception of the Campbell's Russian Dwarf hamster which quite often can be very social with it's own litter mates but even that can go wrong sometimes. Syrian hamsters should NEVER share the same cage with another hamster with the exception of mating and then removing the male after. This is because they are VERY territorial and will not share their cage with another.
As early as a couple months, even weeks! Unless you can find homes for many, many, hamsters, I would suggest not putting a male and female hamster together.
The big hampster would pwn the little one.
male suppose becuz they are probz strong than female hammys
Julie is a Great name for a Hamster as I myself named a Hamster named Julie and she was an excellent hamster! In my opinion i would name the Hamster Julie.
male hamsters are said to be very friendly but ive had 3 female hamsters and they were very easy to look after .
only MALE HAMSTERS LICK FEMALE HAMSTERS SCENTS "I KNOW THAT BECAUSE I HAVE A MALE HAMSTER & A FEMALE HAMSTER".
Hi my name is Melina and i am 9 years old. I think it would be best to start out with a female because if you have a female hamster of gerbil or something of the rodent family if you have a male and you put it in with your hamster or gerbil female the results may end in you hamster and/or gerbil may become pregnant.
If they constantly bite each other then I would advise you to separate them.
the male hamster will choose one female hamster and the left one will die
no i would move them out the hamsters could get in a fight or eat the others babies
At around midnight, or the evening. If your talking about when, like, when... well, only if a male hamster did it with the female hamster, then would the female have babies. Then it would be almost instantly she would have babies, well, maybe a week or 2, but yeah.
I am not a hamster expert but i would say that a female would be better because males tend to be more aggressive
