Average cost for ceramic tile installation in Madison WI?

Don't trust flat rates. Get a quote or quotes from installers that have seen your job. Flat rates do not exist as each job has different requirements. I would be cautious of anyone who gives a flat rate.

Who came up with straight edge?

it was started in the 80's by a Washington d.c. punk/hardcore band called minor threat. listen to: "straight edge" by minor threat. however, the x's came from the venues, at the time, were pubs and anyone underage would be marked with an "x" on their hand. eventually people started doing it themselves and some still do today.

How do you use a six grid reference?

Go to the Ordnance Survey website (UK) and information on using a 6 figure grid reference can be found there. Basically, the UK is covered in 100,000 metre grid squares. Each grid square is identified by two letters. These squares are further divided into 10,000 metre squares that are numbered along the map's borders. An example reference could be: SD 638365 The SD identifies the 100,000 metre square, the 63 is the vertical line to the west of the point. The 8 is the tenths from that line easterly to the point. The 36 is the horizontal line south of the point. The 5 is tenths northerly from the line to the point. (5 would be half way). Instructions on taking grid references are printed on all Ordnance Survey Maps.

How much is a Meriden model 10 rifle in fair condition worth?

Meriden Arms operated from 1905 to 1915 & for part of that time was a wholly-owned part of Sears, Roebuck & Co. Meriden guns were not top-quality, so their value is going to be considerably less than, say, a similar weapon made by Winchester or Remington. Unless you can find a collector who specializes in Meriden weapons,& I don't know of anyone who does, or you can find someone who just wants 'an old gun' and is willing to pay a premium for one, I'd say the value would run in the vicinity of $75 to $100, maybe less. Which would you prefer the odd numbered houses or the prime numbered houses?

I would prefer the prime numbered houses, as there are far fewer of them. It would be much easier to keep my yards mowed, and it would be far less costly in property taxes.

How much is a 1902 meridian firearms double barrel 12 gauge worth?

Are you sure that does not say Meriden- instead of Meridian? Meriden was a gunmaker in that time frame- they were owned by Sears, and made guns for them. If that is the name, value would depend on condition, but somewhere in the $150-$200 range. If you serach for Meriden Firearms, you can see the website with the company history.

Would anyone know where to find a Meriden model 15 firing pin?

Since Meriden stopped production in 1918 the firing pin will have to be made. The model 15 was made from a savage patent so you might be able to adapt a firing pin from an early model savage rifle. I saw a picture of the model 15 on the web and it looks a lot like the savage model 29 that was made in 1929-1933.

Can you cook frozen chicken with no goblets in slow cooker?

Although I have never used "goblets" in my slow cooker I imagine they would save some time in that they can be used instead of a serving platter, however I would recommend a "Pyrex" brand to withstand the heat and prevent the glass from shattering which would make for an unpleasant meal. I also expect that indigestion would be the least of your problems.

Meriden, Ct, would be one answer, assuming you are driving, assuming you aren't picky about which way you go, and assuming where in Mahattan isn't important to the question. It's 197 miles, Meriden is about 98 miles.
