Some plastics are more dense than water, most are not.
This really depends on how dense the plastic is. If it is denser than water, plastic will sink at the bottom. The temperature of the water does not affect whether or not something will float on that liquid.
If the refrigerator water is filtered, then it would be different from the tap water coming from the sink.
yes it would sink because its more dense than water
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and Jupiter would all sink in water, since their densities are greater than 1000kg/m3 (which is the density of water).
Sink like a rock. Water has a density of 1.0g per cm3. Anything denser will sink and anything less dense will float, assuming it does not dissolve. Most oils range from 0.8 to 0.9 and will float on water. After the beginning of a rain, you can often find oil floating on the water on the road.
marble because it weight is more
yes. if there was still a gap for water to get in.. if you had fully covered the hole with no gaps. then it would stop the water coming in..... pail out what water there was in the boat. and it should not sink....
All plastic items float on water, so therefore a plastic boat floats on water.
Because it is much denser than water. If u had liquid with higher density it would float
I believe so. If you had glass pieces and plastic pieces, and you threw them all in water, the plastic would float while the glas would sink. I hope this helped. ~;]]
no it would sink

Yes, I studied it in my science class.
You fill the bottom of the boat with water
Some plastics will float in water and others will sink. It depends on the type of plastic and in particular it depends on the density of the plastic material. This property is used as a method for separating the different plastics sent for recycling. Polyethylene and Polypropylene, for example, will float in water while PVC and ABS will sink.
put water in to let it sink... then put air into it to let it float...
Water has a density of about 1.0, knowing this you can tell if an object will sink or float by calculating the objects density.
