The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services uses the AOC background check in order to process applications. In most states, incidents are viewed on a case by case basis. Mitigating factors are how long ago the incident occurred, was anyone harmed, and has there been any repeated problems. One arrest for public intoxication which occurred in the past may not automatically prevent one from becoming a Paramedic.

Both are minor misdemeanor charges unless there was useable residue on the paraphernalia. Then it would depend on the laws of your particular state what the charge might be.
Someone would be quarantined if they hadd a very deadly and contagious disease that threatened the public's safety.

You will need to talk to someone at your local community college. This is the best place for you to get training because you wont have to pay as much as you would at a university.

When a person has had their throat cut, an EMT or paramedic would use and occlusive dressing. Covering the wound prevents further blood loss and the entrance of air.
