We can never know for certain as that is not the case.
However had the Nazies been able to continue fighting or had the bombs been ready before the Nazi surrender, I believe there is a good chance the first atomic bomb would have been dropped in Germany instead of Japan. But this is also not the case as they surrendered before the atomic bomb was available.
Counterfactual History can be fun to think about, but rapidly disintegrates into uncontrolled and irrational speculation.
Believed they would receive no benefit from the increased contact with Europeans
no because japan were already loosing
if you mean apology, why would one be needed it was war.
The atom was split successfully in early 1940s. In 1945, nuclear bombs were dropped on Japan and thereafter nuclear energy began being used for local energy.
Force Japan to surrender without invading Japan itself which would have resulted in many allied soldiers being killed.
Because Japan had not surrendered yet. There was also a danger that Japan would surrender to Russia as opposed to the US.
WW2 would have lasted at least a year longer, millions more would have died, and japan would have been partitioned into communist north japan and free south japan.
the americans thort that japan would drop a nuclear bombon them
Because of WWII. They have a military, but they are not allowed to call it a military; it's officially called their "Self Defense Forces." They weren't allowed to fight wars anymore either.
I believe the nuclear stuff will harm the whole world. When you look at a globe, Japan is not HALFWAY around the world, just a quarter. People have started running from BC. BE PREPARED.
By 'us' I assume you mean the USA. Japan did not threaten anyone with nuclear weapons, it was only the USA who had them. The Japanese capitulated after the USA dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Very unlikely. Also neither were nuclear explosions:Chernobyl was a massive steam explosion in the cooling system, and Japan was a combination of steam explosions and maybe hydrogen/oxygen explosions. The nuclear releases in both cases were due to breaches of the containment by these explosions. If they had been nuclear explosions many miles from the plants would have been leveled and that did not happen.

Russia has nuclear weapons and a modern army. Japan has put the military aside since World War II.
Get some massive wireless energy transfer devise and set one up on the moon and one in japan. Transfer power from a massive nuclear power plant on the moon to Japan and hook everyone up to it.
11 reactors at present, but see the link below
