YES, IF THE OIL HAD RUN OUT YOU WILL PROBIBLY START TO PUSH THE CON RODS THROUGH THE ENGINE BLOCK. GET A NEW ENGING
i have a 1992 ford escort lx 1.9l. will a 1995 ford escort engine fit. and what would have to replace.
No. An engine out of a 93 would be a 1.9 L 2nd generation and an engine out of a 99 would be a 2.0L 3rd generation.
Sorry, this is something I would not attempt to do myself, I would take this to a qualified garage, if done incorrectly, it could kill your engine.
For a 2002 Ford Escort ZX2 ( in North America ) ( that would be the 2.0 litre , Dual Over Head Cam Zetec four cylinder engine )
No they are completely different engines.
i think the biggest engine you could fit in a 1993 ford escort gt 1.8 is a 1998 ford escort zx2 2.0 turbo engine with intake manifold and coilovers to get hp that you can actually manage in the car. but then you would have to completely redo the wiring harness from a zx2 to a 93 escort and get the transmission from the zx2 to fit also in the 93 escort, with the right motor mounts youll be set.
Diagrams of a 1994 Ford Escort Engines would be available in most technical manuals for engines. These can be found at a local library.
It would if the battery voltage was lowered enough to cause it not to fire.
The starter is burning.
yes it is possible
One sensor would be for your engine temperature gauge and the other sensor for the OBD II engine management system
Oil leak or the engine is burning oil.
