Oil in coolant reservoir 88 Corvette?

Do you have an oil cooler? I have heard that is a possible cause, as would be the head gaskets.

What would cause the engine to overheat on 2001 venture van?

I'll ask a question. Is the low coolant light on? Coolant O.K.?Gm's V6's have a bad habit of using coolant due to faulty intake manifold gaskets?Might want to start there. There was a recall or some type of ruling on the gaskets from GM. Good luck.

What would cause a leak of coolant in the rear of a 98 Chevy 350?

the intake gaskets on these motors are known to break and coolant will run along the intake and head down the back of the motor.

Why would there be coolant leaking into the oil in a 1995 Gran am?

I'm assuming your grand am has a 3400 v6 which are known for intake and head gaskets leaking. so its possible that one of those gaskets are leaking so bad that coolant is leaking from intake/heads down onto your valvetrain and then down into your oil pan. more than likely its your intake gaskets leaking.

Why would coolant spray near thermostat housing and not blow heat in a 2002 Buick Century?

The lower intake gaskets have most likely failed, and you are very low on coolant or there is air in the cooling system.

Why would there be white smoke coming out of a 1995 Crown Victoria exhaust?

Also losing coolant i believe. That would most likely be head gaskets. And hopefully only that.

Why would a 95 T-Bird be leaking coolant and why would the speedometer not work under 30 miles an hour?

There are hoses, gaskets amd water pump which cause leaking. Check it out where the coolant is comming from.. The speed sensor is probablu bad.

Why would you loose coolant but not notice it in the oil or leaking outside of the carIt even now is almost empty?

Sometimes, when head gaskets go bad, the coolant will be burnt off out of the exhaust system. That may not be noticeable at all.

What gaskets would leak antifreeze on a 5.7 Chevy v8 engine?

check your water pump. As well as your thermostat housing, and any coolant hoses/connections.

Would a bad plenum cause a car to overheat?

No It would not unless beside that plenum on your block is a crack in your heads and your leaking coolant or even leaking internally check head gaskets

Why would a 2000 Honda civic si overheat?

lack of coolant . no cooling fan operation, low engine oil, improper coolant mixture, thermostat stuck, debri on radiator , restriction in cooling system.

Would blown head gaskets cause your vehicle to overheat as soon as you drive it?

it is possible for heat from combustion to cause an engine to overheat quickly depending on where the gasket is blown, but i would look for a lack of coolant circulation first. if your coolant is not getting out of the motor and into the radiator it will overheat very quickly.
