No, they are independent of each other. Check the bulbs and if defective, replace them. If not then you either have a bad brake light switch or a bad turn signal switch. ** Also try spraying contact cleaner around the emergency light swith on the steering column. Press it many times to lubricate and clean it and see if that brings the brake lights back to life.
The lights wiring is grounded and you might want to check to see if the ground is connected properly to the frame.
Taking your foot off the brake pedal...?
blown fuse or turn switch bad
what is a window release?
i would try changing your bulb in the rear of the car first then if it still not working then look for fuse or wiring problem
It could be that the window motor has stopped working.
That the lights need fixing maybe?? That the lights need fixing maybe??
each window has it's own window regulator and window motor. so if one is working and one is not, you would have to take the door panel off and see if one or the other is working, or the window may just be off the window track
If the parking/tailight fuse is good - then it may be a bad headlight switch No tail lights but the bulbs are working? Please explain.
burnt out lightbulb!
Try spraying contact cleaner around the emergency light switch. Pres the switch many times to help clean the contacts. That often gets my brake lights working.
