Yes, a vacuum leak will be detrimental to fuel mileage.
A good 4x4 small truck with good gas mileage is a Chevy or ford pickup truck. Those have always been some of the small 4x4 trucks that have had good gas mileage.
Dependable, poor fuel mileage.
Considering that a diesel pickup truck can't use gas I would say that there aren't any diesel trucks that get good gas mileage. If you were wondering which diesel truck gets the highest miles per gallon then I would say you should look at the Dodge Cummins diesel.
The brand is not really the issue.Basically any truck that is aerodynamic will get good fuel mileage. but for really big tractor trailors i would say the international lonestar. but if you want a smaller truck i think Chevy kodiak 7500
Wildfire. See related link.
25mpg
Have a 1995 S10 and have a steady gas mileage of about 30 mpg. The truck is kept in good tune and try to keep it at the speed limit. This truck is also a 4x4.
A CDL Truck school is a very good school. No matter what your occupation or the amount of education you have, I would reccomend getting your CDL as it is always a good fall-back job.
"I wouldn't think the Mitsubishi Raider would be a good first time car, because it's such a large truck. The gas mileage wouldn't be very good, and it may be hard to see around."
That would entirely depend on what you define as good gas mileage if you think around 24 MPG is good then yes
