No. Galileo was a man who seeked for the truth, and when one discovers the truth, why would one need to deny it?
Instead of denying the truth, and accepting lies, I would rather do everything in my power to combat the oppressors who wish to bury the truth, and do my best to bury the lie whilst upholding the truth.
By allowing people of power to hide something important, the wolrd itself will not progress, and other people will be affected as a repercussion of this action. In the end, the people who hid it in the first place might be the last to suffer, but they will end up receiving the harshest punishment when the time comes.
People do not deny what they believe to be true
Galileo Galilei first promoted a heliocentric solar system as a physical reality in his 1610 book, The Starry Messenger . Opponents, both academic and ecclesiastical, attacked his ideas; and Galileo was less than diplomatic in his replies to their criticism. In early 1616, a group of Roman Catholic scholars debated this topic, deciding that heliocentricism should be taught only as a useful aid to calculation. Galileo agreed to do exactly that, and did so for the next sixteen years. In 1632, Galileo published Dialogue Concerning the Two Chief World Systems , which had an intelligent person defend a heliocentric system and a person named "Simplicio" defend a geocentric one. Galileo could not (and did not) deny writing this book; his name was on it. The only issue was whether the book promoted an idea that he had earlier agreed not to promote. Galileo claimed it did not, but his defense was rejected. The proof of this crime was pretty clear to anyone who read the book.
This was because Catholic teachings back then were based on the idea that the Earth was the center of the Universe. Threatened by torture, Galileo was forced to deny that the Earth moves and that the Sun was the center of the Universe.
Because having said that he could prove it, he had to admit that he could not. Although the heliocentric theory is accepted now, it was not accepted in Galileo's lifetime. After his death scientific knowledge advanced to the point that everyone was forced to admit it was right. But Galileo was not right, given the state of scientific knowledge during his lifetime.
There have always been people who don't believe in scientific evidence, or possibly deny scientific evidence for political or religious reasons. The persecution of Galileo is an early example, but Pythagoras is thought to have put a student to death for proving that irrational numbers exist.

Assert : Deny what would that analogy be?
Yes, absolutely. They can and they most likely will deny you credit. However if you are paying in full and not applying for finance there would be no reason to deny you.
no one can deny

Of coarse he is. Who would deny??
Yes. who would ever deny it...
The antonyms (opposite) of deny would be to accept or agree with something, so you could use:AcceptAgreeGrant(ed)Allow
All experts would deny that.
Where "acknowledge" means to admit or confirm, deny would be an antonym. Sometimes acknowledge only means to reply or respond.
Deny deny deny!
Yeah, if you do, the bank would issue a stop payment on the cheque. If you try to deny after encashing the cheque the bank would file a legal case against you
