Why don't neurons have centrioles?

If they do it would mean, possibly, that they would not go through mitosis.

What is the Inability of the centrioles to separate chromatids would interfere with which stage of mitosis?

Anaphase is when the chromosomes are pulled to the opposite poles in the cell.

What would happen if the cell did not contain centrioles?

mitosis & meiosis would not proceed normally. the centrioles are responsible for helping form the spindles which pull the chromatids to either side of the dividing cell. so if u didn't have the centrioles (form the asters) then the divided cells would not have an equal numbers of chromosomes at the end. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/centrioles see second def. listed

Where would you expect mitosis to be occurring most often?

Skın cells

What would be the role of the centrioles?

During Mitosis, during metaphase, the centrioles grow spindle fibers which attach to the chromosomes located currently on the centrosome. They then pull one half of the chromosome to their side of the cell, this process is called anaphase. They then disappear.

Why would you expect mitosis to occur more often in an adults teeth?

teeth

Why is centrioles important in mitosis?

Because without centrioles u wouldn't be able to make new cells soo you would only have one cells in body, eventually tht cell will die off so then you will die of having no cells.(:

How would a cell be affected if it did not have a centriole?

When the experiments were done, they found out that the cell still functions normally and goes through mitosis and spindle formations when they take the centrioles out.
