Chances are, even if you can't eat some (or all) nuts, you will probably be fine with coconut. The proteins (which are the allergens) are very different and coconut allergy is rare.

Coconut Allergies are possible, but they are rare and generally not connected to tree nut allergies. It should be safe to eat coconut if you are allergic to tree nuts, but I would consult your doctor first.

Yes. I have an extremely severe severe tree nut allergy, requiring an Epipen and the whole bit. I have coconut all the time. coconut is a seed , not a nut.
