Although some medical advances promise to increase the human life span, such efforts will not lead to everlasting life.Only God can give us everlasting life ,because only he is “the source of life “.(Psalm 36:9)He promises to “swallow up death forever “and grant everlasting life to all faithful humans.-Isaiah 25:8; 1 John 2:25.

You can't; it is sceintifically impossible, unless you are a member of certain plant or animal species.

LIVING FOREVER:

No human being has lived for even 150 years. Thus, 'living forever' doesn't mean 'living for centuries'.

When our life becomes chaotic then all activities of our life become independent of each other. We often feel that our life is going to end in a moment.

In marked contrast to this, under ideal conditions all our activities acquire the same status. Then time sense is lost completely giving us a feeling that we are going to live forever. This is the state of eternal bliss.

Thus, when we try to live forever, the aim is not to be able to live for centuries but to have eternal bliss.

Thus, 'living forever' actually means 'living with eternal peace'. It has nothing to do with prolongation of life.

What an interesting concept.

My answer would depend on many things.

Would I age?

If so at what rate?

Would I be susceptible to illness, injury, or permanent disfigurement?

How long is "forever"?

- As long as humankind exists?

- As long as the earth exists?

Would I be the only one to live forever or would I have others like me?

In all cases, I still think my answer is no. Life is as precious as it is because it is short.

If you believe, as I do, that your soul/spirit progresses through each life and on to another after it has learned the lessons, enjoyed the experiences and fulfilled its purpose in this one, then in a way you do live forever.

Other wise you run the risk of living with the possibility of centuries as an ancient person, or surviving alone after everything else including the planet we live on is gone.

No, I really can't see any up side to living forever.

NO
