it seems to me that you may have bent your shifting fork that is located inside the bottom half of the motor. but it could very well be that you messed up the clutch basket. i have seen that before i do alot of work on four wheelers and seems to me that it is probley the shift fork. mine is currently not shifting right either. i was riding it was shifting fine went to take off from a dead stop and shifted into first then second and when i went to third it seemed like there was something that was obstructing the shifter rod. if any questions you can e-mail me at andrewmercure77@Yahoo.com

Q: Yamaha Blaster will shift into 1st. gear from neutral but not any other gear. It will just shift back into nuetral. Any ideas to this problem?
