same thing happened to me. more than likeley the wiring for the button is bad so what i did is i removed the button from the shifter and disconnected the red and green wire. i took those out of the shifter and bought a switch at an auto parts store and connected them to a two prong led throw switch and fabricated the switch that hole next to the shifter and now i have a switch to turn on and off my over drive. If your car isn't actually out of overdrive even when the light says it is, it is more than likely your Speed Sensor. Very easy to replace. A fluctuating speedometer would be another indication.
dash lights wont work
If a dash light is flickering on and off, it could be that the light is loose. Check to make sure that the light for the speedometer and the dash are in the holders that keep them from dropping out of the dash.
it needs a speed sensor replaced.its on top of the transmission
The same light is used to determine if the level of brake fluid in the master cylinder is sufficient. And also if the parking brake is fully released
on my 99 Sephia the Blower is located under the dash on the passenger side.
it may need a new bulb
yes
Check for a blown fuse
under dash, pasenger side
CHECK THE FUSE PANEL DASH & TAIL LIGHTS WORK FROM SAME FUSE
you CANT U HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE CLUSTER...
when you open the door to get in and drive, it is on the end of the dash, you cant really see it unless you are looking
