Hey, he's your boyfriend ;) if you have already decided you want to try dating, you don't need to rush anything. Start by small things like what he's doing, his hobbies etc. You may also want to try watching a film together and talking about it while watching. Try touching and holding each other's hands, it will make you comfortable with each other and also give you something to talk about or just be silent together. You could compare your hand sizes just for fun.
