It is quite normal to be scared, you should tell you mom, dad or guardian that you are scared and they and the nurses will help you. I have had the same operation and I can assure you that you don't or know or remember anything about the operation so don't worry.
It may surprise you to know this, but people of all ages are usually scared/nervous about upcoming surgeries. Reassure yourself that what you are having done are very simple procedures and occur every day with no problems. Good luck tomorrow.
Teeth grinding in children has nothing to do with having enlarged adenoids and tonsils. If a child is grinding their teeth, it is simply a bad habit.
Your gag reflexes should not be affected by having your tonsils removed.
This is the the medical term for having your tonsils removed.

Adenoids tend to be removed during childhood as part of a tonsillectomy. Adenoids would be removed if they are blocking an airway, if the child is either having difficulty breathing through the nose or at night, or if the child has chronic ear infections.

I have gotten my tonsils removed and yes you can still get strep throat. Although you get it not as easy and it will not be as much of a miserable experience. As you could imagine not having tonsils that also swell up. Plus you get to chill in a hospital and eat ice cream... Now that is bomb.
I am not sure and am having the same problem
Yes because the tonsils will suport that
