In some states if one of the parents, usually the minor's parents, want to take legal action, then they can and your boyfriend would have to file as a statutory rapist. If none of the parents pursue legal action, then nothing will happen to your boyfriend. Do some research of your own to see your own state laws.

You can't go unless you are 18 or older because you are technically a minor. If you parents agree (which I don't think they would) then your boyfriend has to take full responsibility of you and if something happens to you, your boyfriend wont get in trouble (not a lot), your parents will <- which might be the reason why your parents wont let you

Yes age is just a number, but you are only 15 years old and haven't begun to live life. I know you can't possibly understand that at your age because with age comes wisdom. I am sorry, but I agree with your parents. Your boyfriend is far too old for you and you are a minor and he is not and he could get into a lot of trouble if he is having a sexual relationship with you. Your parents fear you will get pregnant and although this may not upset you bringing up a baby while both of you are so young it is very difficult. You need to get your education and a good job; be independent; travel and see the world if you want and experience life. I am sure your boyfriend is a good person, but, the law dictates he is far too old for you. If he truly loves you he would wait for you. I wish I could be more positive. Talk to your parents and see how you can resolve this problem. Hopefully your boyfriend will back off a little and wait until you are 18 and old enough to make your own decisions.
