No. First off, what uses would you have for it? 2nd, it can get pretty complex. Can you handle it? I get questions about them from my friends on a daily basis. Most of my friends are 13-14. 3rd, people will judge you. Most people will see you have one and automatically think your a spoiled kid, even if you saved up for it yourself (which I did).
Please take these points into consideration, I really hope I helped.
Remember this is only my opinion, Thanks.

All my friends, even my 7-year old friend, have one. Oh, and I said how should I get it, not should I get it.
The age a child should be in order to have an iTouch should be determined by how mature the child is. Probably the teen years is a good time for kids to have their first iTouch.
itouch 1 is the original itouch --- itouch 2 is the different itouch u can try this 1. sync itouch 1 2. setup itouch 2 (if u have not) 3. with itouch 2 plug into ur computer hit restore. that should restore everything from itouch 1 to itouch 2 if u have any other question leave me a message. i will reply asap. =]
Your iTouch should come with a connection cord that hooks up to a USB port. Hook the iTouch onto one end and the other end into the USB port, it then should automatically sync all of yours apps to your iTouch.
Your iTouch should have come with a connection cord that you hook up to an USB port. This automatically syncs the iTunes library to your iTouch. Wait till the sync is complete, then unplug your iTouch. You should now be able to play your game. Note: If it is not an app it is not compatible with an iTouch.
No there is not. As of now if you would like an iTouch that looks like a second generation iTouch you should get a second generation iTouch.
