There are several websites that offer planners and schedulers, but here are a few general time-frames to help you decide how to arrange your day-
For the ceremony allow at least half an hour - unless it is a Catholic church and you are having a wedding mass, then allow at least an hour. It's best to speak with your officiant to find out average times. For Photos- allow at least an hour for a small wedding party and just a few family photos. If you have a larger wedding party and/ or a large family and want photos of everyone, allow upwards of 2 hours- I have often cut this down by arranging to shoot photos of the bride and groom separately before the ceremony- or when they aren't superstitious, together. Speak with your photographer to find out if there is an additional charge for pre-shooting and also to find out their average times. Reception and cocktails- 1 to 2 hours, depending on the number of guests. Supper- allow 2 hours to give people time to digest a bit before they start dancing.
