I would not eat this as you may not know whether it has been pre frozen before it got to the market. and personally I wouldn't eat meat within 3 months of freezing.

Kinda depends on how long it's been packaged before you bought it. These things come with a "best by" date. It's usually a pretty good guideline to go by.
