I just read this in another forum, so I can't take the credit if it works, But sounds like it might help you.
"it should be as easy as dissconecting your battery ground for about 45 minutes then hooking it back up and starting your car without touching the gas pedal, then letting it idle for 3 minutes without touching it." ? give it a whirl.

sounds like the trouble i had. You need to rev the engine up to 2000 rpms for about 10 seconds and shut it off and start it again. See if that cures the problem. The computer has to reset to the new battery and this is the way it does it.
