I found a solution!
My boyfriend put my running shoes on the kitchen table (his, not mine) and I found them this morning after he had left for work. Disgusted (we live in NYC) I immediately took to lysoling the spot. To my Horror, in a matter of seconds the table's finish in the spot I was rubbing was turning a cloudy white. I spent the past 20 minutes scouring blogs for a solution and all I could find were unanswered posts such as this one. Finally, I halfheartedly tried a solution to a watermarks post and... it worked!
Mayonnaise. Take a glob of mayonnaise and rub it into the effected area. I didn't think it had worked at first and returned to my computer for more searching. When I looked back at the table 3 minutes later the white cloud was gone!!
Hope this helps!
I'm not sure for Lysol... but Murphy's oil soap works wonders for cleaning finished wood
Lysol is a combination of surfactants (cause substances to become wet and slide loose from a surface), solvents (causes substances to dissolve) and disinfectants (kills bacteria)
No, and Lysol has a bleach base, which you should never mix with ammonia anyway (unless you're suicidal).
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO use febreeze or lysol disinfectant sprayy...
Lysol is a mixture.
spray lysol disenfectant air freshener on permanent ink. it will completely remove it from anything. It might need to soak in at first but once it soaks in, it washes right off.
Removing the dank smell of food from your home takes some open windows and plenty of Lysol. First keep the windows open for as long as possible to dry the air and remove the smells. Then, spray all surface areas, including the garbage can, with Lysol.

Yes, as long as the surface sprayed, is air dried. Also, on the can, it says not to use on rayon fabrics.
